The Hualālai Ohana Foundation has partnered with Scholastic to provide books and worksheets for the Keiki Summer Book Challenge.

Keiki Summer Book Challenge

Program Mission:

Having access to books over the summer months reinforces good learning habits and is critical to maintaining a child’s achievement level. The Hualālai Ohana Foundation has partnered with Scholastic to provide books and worksheets for the challenge.  The participants will be encouraged to read and maintain skills that would otherwise be lost over the summer.

Program Overview:

Employees may submit an application for their child to receive a grade level appropriate set of five books to be read over the summer.  For each book read and worksheet completed the student will receive an entry for the Grand Prize Drawing.  Parent must sign the program completion form and return to the Hualālai Ohana Foundation office to receive their drawing tickets and be officially entered into the drawing.
