BOARD & JR. BOARD
It all started during a Festive season in 2006 when Alana (then 12) and Michelle (then 9) Dreimann decided to organize a golf cart wash before the Resident’s Annual Meeting to raise money for the HUALĀLAI ‘OHANA FOUNDATION. They rallied their friends, put up posters, created a mess, got soap in each other’s eyes, but had a great time and raised money for the employees of HUALĀLAI who were part of their ‘Ohana. They presented their $1,250 earnings that evening at the Foundation’s art auction. With their contribution being matched by the auctioneer and then over and over again by the bidders in the audience, there was no stopping them. They were all hooked on fundraising and community service.
